Books on Writing a Thesis

There are many books that you can buy online which can teach you how to write your thesis. A simple search using your favorite search engine will present you with plenty of titles such as “How to Write a Thesis” or variations of the same theme. Many such books are on discount, so you needn’t spend a lot of money on them. Most of them can be very helpful though, not because they necessarily tell you things you couldn’t think of, but because they help you get more organized with your work and teach you how to prioritize. “How to Write a Thesis” by Rowena Murray is just one example. “How to Write a Thesis” by Charles Lipson from the University of Chicago is another one. Lipson’s book teaches you how to pick a topic, how to narrow it so that you can manage writing about it, it tells you about how you should organize your thesis, how you should plan your research and where you need to give credit and how. Since these books tell you what’s expected of you, it’s a very good idea to try them out.
